NEW COURSE – Fundamentals of Merchant Ships, 14 March 2016
Mar 14 all-day
NEW COURSE – Fundamentals of Merchant Ships, 14 March 2016 @ Intel Asia Offices | Singapore | Singapore

‘Fundamentals of Merchant Ships’ is designed as a one day, pre-KES course for maritime industry ‘newbies’ and others who have never had the opportunity to visit on board a ship before. Due to security and safety restrictions, we can’t take you on board but we can help you to visualise and experience how ships are constructed and how they work in relation to crewing, cargo handling, propulsion and navigation.

The PIC 60% cash rebate is available to all employees of Singapore companies and the MCF training grant will also be available to all Singapore citizens and PR’s. The net cost of course attendance is therefore very low and the potential benefits to both maritime industry employers and their teams are high. Full details are coming soon regarding a SeaProf Flyer and speaker details.

The “FoMS’ course will culminate with a ‘hands on’ visit to the Swire Pacific Training Centre in Singapore, now the world’s largest and most sophisticated maritime simulator training centre in the world. Simulator experiences will include access to ship manoeuvring, navigation, DPS control and cargo handling together with a presentation on specialist seafarer training.

KES course registrants will be given priority. Don’t miss it!
